1. Introduction

POV Collaborative, Inc.® ("we," "us," or "our") operates The Leader Café Club™ learning platform, accessible through our LearnWorlds-hosted portal and related websites (collectively, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our Platform, enroll in our programs, or otherwise interact with our services.

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

We may collect the following information when you register for an account, enroll in a program, or communicate with us:

  • Full name, email address, and contact information
  • Professional title, organization name, and industry
  • Payment and billing information (processed through our secure third-party payment processor; we do not store full credit card numbers)
  • Account credentials (username and password)
  • Profile information you choose to provide
  • Communications you send to us, including email correspondence and feedback

2.2 Information Collected Through Program Participation

As part of your participation in our Virtual Learning Experiences™, we may collect:

  • Course progress, completion status, and assessment responses
  • Reflection journal entries, Transformation Statements™, and other written submissions you provide through the Platform
  • Video recordings submitted as part of program requirements (e.g., Leader Declaration videos)
  • Discussion contributions made during Ensemble Sessions™

Important: Reflection journals, Leadership Crucible™ entries, and other personal development materials you create on the Platform are treated as confidential. They are accessible only to you and your assigned facilitator unless you expressly choose to share them with your cohort.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Platform, we may automatically collect certain technical information, including:

  • IP address, browser type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, time spent on pages, and navigation paths
  • Device identifiers and general location data (city/region level)
  • Referring URLs and search terms used to find our Platform

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Program Delivery: To provide, administer, and improve our Virtual Learning Experiences™, including tracking your progress, facilitating group sessions, and delivering personalized learning content.
  • Account Management: To create and manage your account, process enrollment and payments, and communicate with you about your participation.
  • Communication: To send you program-related notifications, scheduling information, and updates. We may also send periodic newsletters or marketing communications, from which you may opt out at any time.
  • Platform Improvement: To analyze usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and improve the functionality and user experience of the Platform.
  • Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your personal development materials (journal entries, Transformation Statements™, video submissions) for marketing purposes without your express written consent.

4. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We work with third-party service providers who assist in operating the Platform, processing payments, hosting content, and delivering communications. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify. Our primary platform provider is LearnWorlds.
  • Facilitators: Your assigned program facilitator will have access to your course progress, submitted materials, and participation records as necessary to deliver the learning experience.
  • Sponsoring Organizations: If your enrollment is sponsored by your employer or another organization, we may share aggregate progress and completion information with your sponsor. We will not share the content of your personal reflections, journal entries, or Transformation Statements™ with your sponsor without your express consent.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency).
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (SSL/TLS), secure authentication protocols, and restricted access to personal information on a need-to-know basis.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Upon completion of a program, your course materials and submissions will be retained for a period of twenty-four (24) months to allow you continued access to your work. After that period, materials may be archived or deleted. You may request earlier deletion of your personal data by contacting us (see Section 11).

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience. Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help us remember your preferences, understand how you use the Platform, and improve our services.

The Platform is designed for professional adults and is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
